- Instants…
- A different caption per carousel slide announced
- More talk about grid reordering
- Interactive reels
- Ability to schedule trial reels

It’s so easy to feel a bit lost and overwhelmed by it all. But you don’t have to there are options. You can outsource it to me 👸or you can grab one of the last two spaces to the @pinknestco ‘s next Instagram for Business workshop on the 8th June.

It’s about time I shared an updated post all about It’s about time I shared an updated post all about me (my old one was VERY out of date).

So for those of you new here, I’m Laura, the Founder of Marketing with Confidence. I have worked in marketing for many years in the corporate world in fashion and retail and I now run my own marketing business. I have grown the business from just me, to now, as it is with a small team.

I have also been a pro-blogger and a micro-influencer, which has fuelled my love of social media. And have had the privilege to have worked with some well-known household brands both in my corporate career and as a blogger, on some really amazing campaigns.

I am also the co-founder of The Pink Nest, where we host and deliver training workshops for small businesses, with the goal of teaching you without the overwhelm.

I have a big of a thing for pink (you might have guessed), big earrings and books... the book is always better.

Ask my anything else you would like to know about my in the comments :)

Last week we stepped out of our comfort zone and w Last week we stepped out of our comfort zone and went on adventure. We headed to @canva_uk head office and went @netwerking_

It was a high energy and fun event and we knew we would be learning to ‘twerk’ but had absolutely no idea what to expect.

Even as someone who is confident on camera, I (Laura) had a wobble about dancing up to the camera. And I edited out the part of the video where Robyn turns around and says i can’t dance stop filming 🤣

But we’re here for growth, new experiences and adventures. So we went all in. And that is also our goal for @pinknestco to help other small business owners do just that. Follow along for our adventures. 💃

I made this change a few years back now. I used to I made this change a few years back now. I used to filter my stories in particular, as I was never keen on how I looked without make-up. Then something made me pause, and think about what I was teaching my children, particularly my daughter by doing this. That my face as it naturally was, was not good enough. How would I feel it my daughter felt the same about her face? And I felt a pang in my stomach.

We all have hang-ups... every single one of us has something about our bodies we dislike. But we are also bombarded with pictures of beautiful bodies and media of people that actually don’t exist in real life. They are so filtered and airbrushed, but we’re led to believe they’re real.

I believe the more we look at genuine, real and beautiful bodies in all shapes and sizes, the more we will celebrate them. And the more we realise we don’t have to filter ourselves.

So I don’t filter my photos and I implore you not to filter yourself, because you’re amazing just the way you are.

You know one of the best things that has happened You know one of the best things that has happened for my business is when I stopped over worrying about what people thought about my content. And just embraced putting myself out there and having fun.

I bought this pink tutu skirt last week (which I love), but I did have a little wobble… am I too old for it? Then I thought so what if I am… I love it and I am going to wear it.

So I want you to do the same. Do the videos, have fun. Do it anyway!! Come and join me. I will help you get on video, on your socials, get your marketing out there.

And if you want Instagram help… Robyn and I will be launching tickets for our Instagram for Business workshop next week!
