Ok this is a fun reel, but today is World Mental H Ok this is a fun reel, but today is World Mental Health day, so let’s talk about it. The theme of this year is about is about protecting your mental health in times of global instability- and i don’t know about you but we have felt that this year.

The wars, what’s going on in America, the political climate. It can all be a lot can’t it? And it’s ok to take action to protect your mental health. To limit your scroll time, to mute accounts, to take a break. Before social media we were never bombarded with so much news and negativity at the rate we are now. So protect your peace.

Then as a freelancer or small business owner sometimes it can feel very lonely. Isolating and even scary. But there is support and help out there for you. You don’t have to feel like this, so reach out if you need to ❤️

AD - Gifted As a small business owner I know that AD - Gifted

As a small business owner I know that growing my business, juggling it all and fitting in self care can be tricky. A lot of you will know I have worked quite hard on my fitness and wellbeing over the past year (so it seemed apt I snuck in a kick from my martial arts here🤣).

So I was really excited to hear of a new network for small business owners and entrepreneurs that also supports your well being @wellworkwokingham launching this month

What’s included?
- Co-working in a relaxed environment
- Meet and network with other business owners
- Access to workshops, 1:1 mentoring and peer support sessions
- Access to Wellwork specialist partners and their support network
- A place to invest in your own growth and well-being

Waitlist is now open - hopefully I will see you there?

Robyn and I held another fab Instagram for Busines Robyn and I held another fab Instagram for Business workshop (with special help from our new assistant Edison)

Our workshops are always packed full and designed to help you as business owners feel empowered to go away and be inspired to work and improve your account.

A special thanks to @education_boutique for being our host, it was a gorgeous venue.

It also wouldn’t be a workshop with Robyn and I if it didn’t include a fun reel! Tea anyone… ☕️

Such a fab morning networking today hosted by @the Such a fab morning networking today hosted by @thebusinessnest . @declutterroxify was a hilarious speaker, making us all think about how many mugs we own 😆

It was also great to check out the new co-working venue (with in-built nursery) opening soon @mylittleboardroom (I wish it had been around when mine were that small)

So many great and inspiring women present and I loved everyone sharing their wins of the month. When you run your own business you often forget to celebrate the little wins, so this was a great to celebrate everyone’s success.

I fear my husband has upstaged me once more 🤣. I fear my husband has upstaged me once more 🤣. But I often describe myself as having 100 tabs open in my head. And today my head pinged awake at 4am with so much pinging away in the early hours! I had to write them down before I could go back to sleep.. anyone else do this?

I was diagnosed with ADHD at Easter and I have been told after diagnosis your symptoms can get worse as you unmask more. And I do feel like this is me at the moment. For a lady who likes to be organised and let’s face it, in control, I’m driving myself around the bend. While trying to remind myself to be kind to myself and that it’s also the beginning of the school term which is always an intense time and hopefully things will settle.

Any people who have been diagnosed with ADHD a while have any tips for a newbie?
