After what feels like the longest winter… ever. I am very excited about the arrival of spring. Goodbye winter coats and hats and gloves and hello gorgeous jackets, dresses and lots of fabulous colourful items in your wardrobe. It’s no secret that I love colour, so I was super excited to try out Cotton Traders‘ new spring collection which is all about spring colours and patterns. I have reviewed a few Cotton Traders items before and all of the items featured are still staples in my wardrobe.
Spring Fashion Trends 2023
Trends to look out for this spring include pinks, florals, pastels, and double denim which means Cotton Traders has got your bases covered. I can’t wait to step out in a comfy cotton jumpsuit, trainers and a denim jacket with a pair of sunnies.
The first item I am wearing here is this Chloe crinkle jumpsuit in green, as a Mum of 3, crinkle is always a winner if it reduces the need for any ironing! It’s made of lightweight cotton and really comfy to wear. The green is a lovely soft green that can be worn very easily with lots of different colours.
Spring is most definitely a time for layering as the weather can be so unpredictable, so this jumpsuit would look great with a funky knit or denim jacket, or both depending on what the temperature is outside.
Moving onto pastels and floral trend with this Fleur crinkle shirt dress, while I adore the print, such a pretty pastel print for spring. I have to admit it wasn’t the best on my body shape and I think I would be tempted to size up in this style in the future. But it’s the perfect dress though to pair with a denim jacket and trainers or plimsolls this spring.
If the idea of double denim brings you out in a sweat then denim in different colours is a much easier way of embracing this trend. I think perhaps my favourite item I choose from the Cotton Traders collection was the Maeve denim midi dress. It’s the time of item I can see myself wearing time and time again as it’s so simple and easy to wear. Also, importantly, it has pockets!
To embrace the double denim trend I have paired it with this lovely rose pink denim jacket, it’s a lovely shot of colour for the outfit and the different colour denims make them easier to wear together. The jacket is also going to go with lots of dresses and tops and see me right through to the summer too.
So here are my choices from the Cotton Traders spring collection and they have very much got me feeling nostalgic for sunny spring days and walks to the park which surely cannot be too far away now can it? Which items are your favourites?
You look lovely Laura! Love them all!
