*AD – We were gifted the items for the purpose of this review and giveaway
Whether you’re looking for a last minute gift idea, a present for a little book lover or something to help encourage the love of reading then a book subscription makes for a wonderful gift.
Tales by Mail is a bi-monthly book subscription that gets delivered to your door every two months. Aimed at children aged 8-12 years, every box contains lots of goodies, including two books, games, activities and surprises.
Each book box has a theme and of course the one we were sent had a Whimsical Christmas theme. It included two books, herbal tea, stickers, bookmarks, a badge, tree decoration, and an activity pack. The books were The House at the Edge of Magic and The Marvellous Land of Snergs.
The box brought a big smile to my children and all the little surprises were a big winner. Both books were ones they haven’t read before too, which is great as both my oldest two children are avid readers. It was beautifully presented and wrapped and would be a wonderful item to receive in the post every couple of months.
