Do you have a word of the year? This year my word Do you have a word of the year? This year my word is Bloom. Because last year I worked really hard and built some amazing foundations in both my personal and work life.

I worked hugely on my fitness. I also had some amazing growth in my business and started to build a team. I have watched my children grow and face new challenges with bravery, and my husband started a new job.

And now all of these seeds have been sewn and the roots are set into the ground, I am so excited to see and help everything bloom 🌸

I want my health to bloom, my business to bloom, my husband and children to bloom and grow, my team to bloom, friendships that matter so much to me to flower and bloom. And so I landed on the word bloom.

Tell me what is your word and why?

You may have noticed I took a little break of the You may have noticed I took a little break of the Christmas period. But here is a little reflective reel on 2025. There were so many clips I could have put in, it was hard to choose.

It wasn’t all smooth sailing, my husband losing his job took us a bit by surprise (grateful he has a new one now). But 2025 was a year of growth for me. I have undergone a huge fitness journey, and it’s transformed my life. My business has grown and I now have a fabulous team.

I have collaborated with some amazing women and businesses. Enjoyed so many joyful moments with my friends and family. Watched my children grow, a special mention to Logan winning a Pride of Bracknell award.

As always, I am grateful. Thank you to all who has chosen to work with me, it means so much 🙏❤️

On Sunday evening we were so excited to visit @lap On Sunday evening we were so excited to visit @laplanduk we had never been before and I think I was more excited than the children!

I’m not going to lie, the tickets were eye wateringly expensive. But several times people have asked me was it worth it?

I do think it’s crazy expensive for a 4/5 hour experience, but we did absolutely love it. It was completely magical. Enchanting and submersive. Every single member of staff, sorry I mean every elf, was completely invested in the experience adding to the magic. Every attention to detail was thought through, from fake snow to piped smells to make it even more magical.

I was worried Logan at 14 would be too old for it, but after we came home he thanked me for a magical evening.

I was glad I read @katykicker ‘s really useful post before I went. Being able to prep Bo that he wouldn’t be able to keep the teddy he made in the toy factory was very useful as he would have struggled with it otherwise, and it also gave me an idea of budgets there.

You could spend a fortune there, but again we prepped the kids that we wouldn’t be. For example Lapland Santa hats are £16 each, so for 3 children it would have been £48. You can pre-order jingles (elf money) which come in a beautiful pouch for the day. We ordered each child a bag and told them that was their budget for food and the gift shop for the day, and it was up to them what they spent it on. So they all planned out their budgets and Bo and Aria chose to keep a jingle as a keepsake too.

All of the children loved the ice skating, Aria in particular did not want that come off the ice.

I loved every bit of it and the only thing that let it down slightly at the end was the 40 min wait for Santa, which I suspect was because it was the weekend before Xmas and super busy. But Bo was hanging a bit about the end. But I think the 2nd photo of his face when he met Santa kind of says it all.

Any questions, drop them below.

Today I did something new and a little bit scary… Today I did something new and a little bit scary… I got my very first tattoo!

I am so pleased with it, let me know what you think!

Massive thanks to @pollytatttoo who was fabulous

And I was right, the pain was fine. A bit like a scratch or bee sting. Piercings are way worse!

A little Christmas present to my self, and I love celestial things - sun, moon and stars ✨
