There’s lots of think about with the social media There’s lots of think about with the social media ban announced today for children. My children (14, 12 & 8) don’t have access to it. It www a choice my husband and I made. They do occasionally watch YouTube but we have really reduced that after not feeling comfortable with it.

Here are a few of my thoughts both as a mum and a marketing expert. I think it also demonstrates why having more than a one of marketing your business is important.

What are your thoughts?

Instagram seems to be non stop new features at the Instagram seems to be non stop new features at the moment doesn’t it? And while they have said they will always have a free version, last week they announced a new paid for option - Instagram Plus.

Here’s a summary of what’s included to help you decide if it’s right for you.

It’s really too soon to tell if it’s going to worth it (especially when it’s rolling out and not everyone has it right now). But I am going to try it and will report back and let you know.

I have kept verified as I have has my account was cloned before and it was pretty awful (the account stealing my photos and selling tickets that didn’t exist). Which is why I have paid and continue to pay for verified. For me that peace of mind after an awful experience was worth it.

Watch this space on Instagram plus….

You may know me for my love of video, social media You may know me for my love of video, social media and pink. But anyone who works with me regularly also knows about my love of Diet Coke.

You won’t find me ever giving it up. My fellow members of @wibn_thamesvalley know I like to bring one of them to the meeting (water or tea doesn’t cut it). Lunch isn’t lunch without one.

I don’t do coffee and I rarely drink alcohol. I do have daily limit to make sure I get my water in. Fun fact.. my husband loves Pepsi (wrong choice) so we have his and her on the fridge 🤣

What is your favourite drink of choice?

Surround yourself with people that matter. That wa Surround yourself with people that matter. That want to see you grow and do well, that will put the kettle on when you have had a bad day and listen at the end of the phone.

Who will squeal when you share your good news, and help you lift you up.

Those are the people that matter. The rest, the critics, the judges, they don’t matter.

AD in collaboration with @cottontradersuk Well t AD in collaboration with @cottontradersuk

Well this week has been crazy hot hasn't it? And it also made me realise how much my summer wardrobe desperately needed updating. So it was great timing that Cotton Traders sent me some items from their Loved by Jasmine collection.

This print top and trousers co-ord set and gorgeous printed maxi dress. Both so comfortable and loose to wear in the warm weather. I am wearing a size 14 in both and I would say they are true to size.

Come and tell me which is your favourite outfit?
