Trendhim Valentine’s Gift Guide
*Advertisement Feature
It’s been a long year already. Christmas was a different, if not altogether terrible experience and I think we’re all looking for a bit of fun to brighten our lives. January is a bit pointless in this regard as it’s dark, wet and we’re all usually still broke from Christmas. February is also dark and wet but, thankfully, right there in the middle, we have Valentine’s Day. Now I know, you don’t have to wait for Valentines Day to tell your significant other that they’re special, but by the same token, it doesn’t hurt to have a day where you focus on it.
This week I shall be looking at my favourite accessories site TrendHim, and picking out some nice bits to give to the man in your life for Valentine’s Day. I worked with them last year, I like TrendHim because the stuff fits my style and also it’s not crazy prices. Things are even better right now as there’s a sale on so there’s really no reason for you not to treat your other half!
What I like tends to be things that I can wear daily, so something that will look as nice when I’m wearing a suit as they would when I’m in more casual clothes.
I have a thing at the moment for bracelets, particularly stacking bracelets and this one Blue Agate one really caught my eye. The bracelet is subtle with an eye-catching splash of colour. The Lucleon Harmony bracelet is one I have already and is a firm favourite being both stylish, versatile and very comfortable.
The next thing that caught my eye was this rather super Maltese cross. I already have a really sweet Byzantine-style cross with black detailing but I figured it would be nice to have something to change things up every now and again. Another obvious attraction is the connection to a certain Ian Kilminster and his unique style which makes Maltese crosses forever cool af. This one has a sweet 3-dimensional feel and also a nice long chain which I think looks good but also does not get in my way when I’m going about my business.
It might well be old fashioned but a cross necklace coupled with a smart and stylish stacking bracelet fits my aesthetic perfectly, not least because they’re accessories that I can use when dressed smartly for work or when chilling at home playing the guitar.
