2017 Ditch the Diet Challenge
Back in September last year, I decided I needed to make a change in my life. I have been on and off diets all my life and I decided that I just cannot do it anymore. The biggest reason it was affecting my mental health. While I have no wish to be unhealthy or unfit, I also cannot do another diet. So I decided to ditch the diet and instead focus on living a healthy and balanced life. This is about making better choices, slowly reflecting and adjusting on portion sizes and making little changes to move more. It’s not about losing weight, my first goal is simply to maintain and any loss is a bonus, it’s about changing the way I approach and manage my food forever.
As I am sure there are others who feel the same as me, I decided to start a challenge, I have said this is for 2017, but in fact you can start it at anytime. Just start with my first blog post and work your way through.
