JCB Kids Wheel Loader Toys Review
As part of our JCB Kids Ambassadorship we were sent another fab package in the post this month. This is our third package from JCB Kids and an arrival that incites much excitement in our house. I think his face in the picture above pretty much says it all. It is always a fab day when our box arrives. My son is a big digger fan and his sister seems to be following in his footsteps.
This month’s package included two wheel loader toys, a 7 inch one and a 14 inch one from HTI Toys. Which my children declared that the biggest one was for Logan and the smallest for Aria. In the interests of fun, we decided the best thing we could do is test the diggers out and see just how well they could dig in the real world… just like a real digger. As you can see they lived up to the task!
In comparison to the My First JCB Diggers that were sent to us in the first month, these diggers are definitely aimed at older children – and the box for the larger loader reinforces this stating it is for children that are 3 years+ . The wheel loaders are more realistic in their design, and without the faces they just look more like the real thing.
The realistic design definitely appealed to my son more and in fact he plays with these more now than he does with the My First JCB Diggers. They seem much more suited to his age range (he’s 5). Whereas my daughter (2.5 years old) seems to steer towards the friendly faces of the My First Diggers more.
These diggers are pretty robust, as you can see here they did well digging up real life stones. The arms fully move and the digger’s bucket tilts so you can use it to load and move and release the stones in a different place. I can also see them joining us on the beach in the summer this year. A game that can keep my son entertained for hours in the sand. What better way to build your very own dam than with your very own digger? These are fab little toys and I would definitely recommend them.
JCB 14 inch loader RRP £15.59, JCB 7 inch loader RRP £4.79
